Church Planting
Faith rooted in local communities
BCM equips local pastors, church planters and disciples to share Jesus Christ, form congregations and strengthen believers. Church communities offer fellowship, spiritual growth and support for new Christians. BCM has planted 6 churches in Myanmar, and has begun its first church plant in Mae Sai, Thailand.

Local Churches and Discipleship Training
Two church buildings have been completed in Tachileik and Nan Kai. A third multi-purpose building in Nan Nok, intended to serve as a school, dormitory and sanctuary, is under construction.
In Mae Sai, BCM held a two-month discipleship training program for 25 young believers. Pastor Aung Mai has trained more than 100 disciples and church planters. About half now serve in church planting, Sunday School, church leadership and sharing the Gospel. The others volunteer with churches and wherever additional help is needed.
BCM’s long-range vision is to see 100 healthy churches established and thriving, led by local believers and becoming self-supporting, self-governing and self-propagating.
