About BCM
Biblical Church Ministries
Biblical Church Ministries (BCM) is a locally led Christian ministry formally established in April 2023 under International Christian Mission Services (ICMS). Its early church-building work in Tachileik began informally in 2020. Based around Tachileik in Myanmar, Mae Sai in Thailand and surrounding tribal communities, it shares Jesus Christ, plants churches and helps local families through education, rehabilitation, medical care and poverty relief.
Pastor Aung Mai, a BCM co-founder with a master’s degree in theology, leads with a team of local workers and a six-member leadership board. BCM has boards in Myanmar and Canada. Donations and donor receipts for BCM are handled through International Coordinated Christian Ministries (ICCM).
On the ICCM donation form, select MYANMAR/THAILAND Biblical Church Ministries from the Give to list.

Rooted in Faith. Growing in Hope. Serving with Love.
Since its formal establishment in April 2023, BCM has worked to share the Gospel and build community in Myanmar and Thailand. Pastor Aung Mai speaks Burmese, Thai, English and several tribal languages. He and local colleagues seek to make disciples and equip communities with the support of partners and churches abroad.
Our Mission
BCM exists to disciple new believers; evangelize; train pastors and plant biblical churches; provide Christian education, relieve poverty and offer medical assistance; and help people facing addiction find freedom through rehabilitation and faith.
Our Long-Term Vision
BCM envisions local churches that are self-supporting, self-governing and self-propagating. Its long-range aspiration is to see 100 churches established and thriving. Current community initiatives include agricultural training, local self-support projects and developing a five-acre rice paddy.
